Sometimes there are plugins that have an effect on what the WP Mobile Detector tries to accomplish. For example, a cache plugin like W3 Total Cache attempts to cache your website to make it faster. Since the WP Mobile Detector creates a mobile version of your website, it is imperative that the two plugins work together. There are many more examples. If you have any of the plugins below installed with the WP Mobile Detector, please follow the simple instructions on how to configure them to work efficiently together.

If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact us.

W3 Total Cache

If you have this plugin installed and activated, you must make a simple edit to one of the files in order for it to work properly with the WP Mobile Detector. Please see this blog post How To Get W3 Total Cache & Mobile Plugins To Work for a step-by-step guide.

WP Super Cache

Currently the WP Mobile Detector is not compatible with this plugin. You must disable one or the other. We recommend switching to W3 Total Cache instead of the WP Super Cache. Please see instructions above for integration instructions.
